The 2018 Farm Science Review is slated to be hosted between September 18 and 20 at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center. The three-day show is specifically designed to showcase commercial and educational exhibits, in addition to new product lines.

Each year, there are 4,000 product lines and more than 700 commercial and educational exhibits on average. This is in addition to workshops and presentations, which are presented by various experts from the College of Food, Agricultural and Environment Sciences at The Ohio State University. More than 120,000 people typically attend the show every year.

This year, there will be a larger exhibit area, and improvements have been made so attendees can easily visit the “Ride and Drive” area.

“With additional exhibitors and space available in 2018, everyone in agriculture will be sure to find something new for their operation,” said Nick Zachrich, manager of the Farm Science Review.

There is also an online directory and app that visitors can now use to better plan their trip. With the app, attendees can use keywords to search for certain exhibits and get walking directions to wherever they want to be. The online directory includes educational exhibits and food vendors, in addition to commercial vendors.

“This will make it easier for visitors to locate all the educational exhibits they’re interested in, the products they want to find as well what they want for lunch,” Zachrich said.

Tickets for the show can now be purchased online at fsr.osu.edu and cost $7. The price per ticket is $10 at the gate, and children 5 and under are free.
