While the couple has remained in the area due to their love for the views of the woodlands and orchards on the land surrounding their residence, tractors have become a hobby that has kept the Groessers in Michigan, the news source reported.

"I was out in Buckley almost 30 years ago and saw a 1944 John Deere for sale," Rodney Groesser, told the news source. "I’ve always had farming in my blood since I grew up on a farm in Suttons Bay. I just had to have it."

The Groessers take the time to replace any old parts that can be updated, add new wheels when necessary and put new paint on the vintage tractors to keep them in top condition, according to the Morning Star.

According to the Mid Michigan Old Gas Tractor Association, there are more than 55 tractor shows each year in the state for the farm equipment enthusiasts.
