The Antique Engine and Tractor Association will hold its annual Working Farm Show as a way to celebrate the organization's 50 years of operations, according to the Geneseo Republic.

A significant crowd is expected at this year's event, as a record number of onlookers attended the annual show due to the different nature of the event. Older residents are taken back to their childhood days as they watch the antique farm equipment perform tasks around the grounds.

"It’s amazing the stories you’ll hear about the equipment from those at the show," Kevin Bos, president of the Antique Engine and Tractor Association, told the Republic. "They remember their grandfathers or their dads or uncles using the equipment."

Workers at the event try to educate visitors about the history of farming in the region, as they explain the tasks that they are performing while riding their John Deere tractor around the grounds, according to the news source.

The Antique Engine and Tractor Association has been in operation for more than 50 years and allows area residents to view antique tractors and used farm equipment that individuals may want to purchase, according to the organization's website.
