Along with antique farm equipment, a festival in Colorado featured a number of attractions during the first weekend in October.

According to MileHighNews.com, which represents a collection of newspapers in Colorado, the 34th annual celebration of Cider Days in Lakewood, Colorado, played host to thousands of spectators. The festival featured hayrides, historic farm equipment and, of course, cider.

Ross Hancock, a Sedalia, Colorado man who featured old-time equipment at the event, told Mile High Newspapers that he has been coming to the event for 20 years. This time around his display featured an antique table saw.

"This is just a lot of fun," Hancock said. "The kids love it, and I love seeing the looks on their faces as they are watching."

The news organization noted that the modern incarnation of Cider Days centered on antique farm equipment that was featured during a lunch put on by a local historical society.

As harvest time is in full swing, farm-related festivals and activities are in full force across the country. One particularly popular attraction that is featured nationally is a corn maze. According to the Baltimore Sun, Utah-based maze company The MAiZE has about 200 corn mazes across the nation.
