The holiday village that Carol Clever built, a 4-by-14-foot masterpiece complete with model John Deere tractors, is the Broomfield, Colorado resident's tribute to Christmas, according to the Broomfield Enterprise.

The news source reported that Clever, formerly from a small farm in Iowa, built the holiday village based on what she remembered of her former home combined with features that showcase her new Colorado residence. The John Deere tractors act as a tribute to her childhood house, and she noted that it serves as her "canvas" for creativity.

"It gives me a place to be creative," she told the Enterprise. "Setting up is the fun part -- my husband calls it the 'ultimate dollhouse.'"

There is a variety of animals that are present in her holiday village, as she remembers her father purchasing livestock for their farm back in Iowa. Clever noted that she kept expanding on her project because of the more than 40 people who come to see the model town, according to the news source.

According to Yahoo, there are several models of John Deere figurines and model tractors that are available for people who are trying to work on similar projects.
