Industry leaders and representatives from various businesses in the construction, construction equipment and engineering sectors will gather next week at the third annual ENR-CURT Construction Business Forum in Arlington, Virginia.

McGraw-Hill Construction's publication Engineering News-Record (ENR) and the Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) host the forum on June 9-10, 2009, at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, to discuss the theme "Embracing Change: The Impact of the New Administration on Construction."

At the Forum, contractors, construction managers, engineers, architects and equipment and building product manufacturers will examine the business impact of economic uncertainties, the stimulus package, the changing regulatory landscape, workforce issues and more, the forum producers announced.

CEOs and executive directors from the Business Roundtable, the Associated General Contractors of America, the American Institute of Architects, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Associated Builders and Contractors will participate in policy discussions.

June 9th features a keynote address from Jordan Barab, acting assistant secretary of labor at the Occupational Safety & Health Administration. Barab will discuss OSHA's role in ensuring that worker protection and safety laws are upheld as recovery infrastructure investments are carried out.

J. Joseph Tyler, director of military programs, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Walter Kimball, president, Bechtel Construction Operations, will deliver keynote addresses on June 10th, McGraw-Hill Construction said.
