While many golf fans focused on the John Deere Classic for the quality golf and excellent field of players, the Pro-Am also drew in a group of individuals that were excited to be part of the annual event, the Chippewa Valley Leader-Telegram reported.

Pro players including Jerry Kelly joined the ranks of local fans and golf course employees to enjoy the more casual tournament, taking in the sights and sounds of the Classic without the cameras and crowds, the Leader-Telegram reported.

Along with bringing in great crowds and exciting golf, the John Deere classic is the number one per capita charity fundraiser out of all of the tournaments on the PGA tour, according to the news source.

A variety of new models are available from the tournament hosts, as John Deere tractors come in a variety of types, with horsepower ranging from 24 hp to 543 hp, the company website reported.
