Ramon Kuntz owns rows of used farm equipment, which he keeps tucked away in an old hog barn, but he wanted to expand on his collection of John Deere lawn tractors over the next several years, according to Iowa Farmer Today.

The news source reported that he has already acquired a handful of newer models that are parked around his office and in his workshop, as he keeps the smaller vintage machines in the barn to protect them from the elements.

Kuntz is running out of room for his collection, but he noted that the love for a specific product is something that is part of his bloodline.

"It’s been a family thing to collect something, tinker on something, work on something," Kuntz told Iowa Farmer Today. "When you’re brought up in it, you fall into it."

Kuntz still owns the original John Deere Model H tractor that he was given by his father.

The John Deere Model H tractor was manufactured in the Waterloo, Iowa plant from 1939 to 1947, with more than 60,000 built during this period, according to Tractor Data.
