John Deere has announced a new line of golf equipment, as the agricultural giants will release a new walk-behind greens mower and a wide area front rotary mower this year, according to PitchCare.com.

The SL Series PrecisionCut walk-behind mowers and Series II 1600 Turbo WAM out-front rotary mower will be on display at the John Deere stand at Saltex 2011 in September, the industry leader reported.

SL Series mowers are designed to deliver a quality finish for golf courses, tennis courts, cricket squares, bowling greens and other types of turf areas. The powerful 4hp engine features low noise and vibration levels to maximize efficiency while minimizing disruptions, reported PitchCare.

The Series II Turbo WAM mowers feature 57hp engines that meet emission standards while providing enough power for any cutting needs. Adjustable seating, run-flat tyres and castor-action gauge wheels allow the John Deere product to reduce an individual's downtime and increase the productivity of any greenskeeper, according to news source.

Along with the two new forms of gold maintenance equipment, John Deere boasts a revamped 7R Series line of tractors for row-crop and utility use, according to the company website.
