The news source reported that the theme for this year's convention is "Generations of Power." Attendees will be able to get an up close look at some of the two cylinder and new generation John Deere tractors.

Ken Reese, the co-chairman of the conference, noted that nothing runs quite like a Deere.

"I think it's the dependability," Reese told the news source. "The strength. The long lasting energy these tractors provide."

According to the news source, the Gathering of the Green conference takes place from March 14th to March 17th and more than 2,000 people are expected to attend the celebration over the course of this period.

The event's website reported that the 2011 event saw more than 74 vendors bring their products and memorabilia into The River Center.
