A large number of people who have used John Deere tractors and farm equipment enthusiasts from around the world will convene in Iowa for the annual "Gathering of the Green" conference, according to Agri-View.

The news source reported that the Quad Cities area will be flooded with fans of the green and yellow agricultural giant from March 14 to 17 for the seventh annual gathering.

Held in the River Center in Davenport, the event will feature a convention style conference that will allow admirers of antique John Deere tractors - that include several varieties of two-cylinder models - and New Generation machines to look at the equipment or learn about it in workshops. Memorabilia can be purchased at the vendor area, according to Agri-View.

The news source reported that 60 workshops and drop-in sessions will be presented over the course of three days and an auction will occur after evening speakers.

According to the event's website, the all-volunteer Gathering planning board helped to organize the event, as they range from tractor owners to enthusiasts and simply want to share their love for the brands.
