John Deere is adding four models to the K-Series crawler dozer line, as the company has provided another new product for people who have used John Deere heavy equipment.

According to a company release, the new options provide contractors with an emissions-certified machine that helps to increase productivity. The equipment comes with more uptime and lower daily operating costs in both earth moving and grading applications.

"We're excited to add four efficient and productive crawler dozer models to the John Deere line-up," said Jon Gilbeck, global product marketing manager for crawler dozers, John Deere Construction & Forestry. "Our customers wanted an IT4 engine, a quieter and more comfortable cab and the unsurpassed operating ease and maneuverability they have come to expect from John Deere. With the success of the 850K, we only thought it was logical to expand the K-Series' offerings."

The release noted that the new models have more horsepower than the J-Series, and the machine is heavier, helping to increase productivity.

According to the company's website, the 850K was built in accordance with feedback from the Customer Advocate Group, as these individuals offered their expertise to help the John Deere achieve the best results.
