John Deere to have Large Presence at 2014 Commodity Classic

According to a news release, John Deere will join a handful of companies showcasing agriculture’s newest, most innovative products and services at the “What’s New” sessions during the 2014 Commodity Classic, which will be held in San Antonio, Texas from February 27 to March 1, 2014.

Topics for the sessions include the latest tractor and combine header technologies, soil fertility trends, new developments in seeds to help manage pests, the latest technology tools for the farm and tools to optimize seed selection for each field. Commodity Classic Co-Chairman Wyatt Whitford, said about the sessions in the release, “If you’re coming to Commodity Classic hoping to learn and gain some new ideas to take back to your farm, you’ll want to mark your calendar for the What’s New sessions. These sessions offer a sneak peek at the new technology and products out on the trade show floor and an opportunity to ask the experts questions.”

The sessions are scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1, but Deere’s presence at the show expands beyond these presentations. A recent AgWired report notes Deere’s new ExactEmerge planter will likely be “the big attraction” at the Commodity Classic, much like it was at its recent unveiling at the National Farm Machinery Show.

Deere will be deeply involved at the 2014 Commodity Classic, participating in the “What’s New” sessions as well as displaying new agriculture equipment and technologies to visitors at its booth throughout the event.
