Lois Corn was born in Alameda, California, but she moved to Oregon in her youth, eventually settling in the Treasure Valley area. It was here, according to The Argus Observer, that she learned how to farm.

The news source reported that Lois married Dick Corn in Nevada, and together they started on their life-long career of farming. They could be seen out in the fields on their used John Deere tractors for more than 50 years after finally settling down.

Lois would assist with the farming responsibilities, and then would take her truck to the local markets during harvest time to unload the family's crops. She began her career with a John Deere tractor and a three-bottom plow and since has graduated to using a John Deere 8000-series tractor and an eight-bottom plow.

In 1997 the Corns decided to purchase a John Deere Track tractor, according to the news source, which she has used ever since.

According to the company's website, the John Deere Track tractors are available with a variety of attachments, and newer models come with the JDLink and GreenStar systems.
