Recently, rebuilt farm equipment made its way on a short tour.
Rolling down the street in his 1942 "B" John Deere tractor, Don Moyer had a rather simple reason to be at the Sandusky County Fairgrounds in Ohio.

"I enjoy the people and the tractors," Moyer told the Fremont, Ohio, News-Messenger.

This year marked the third time refurbished farm equipment has been featured on a tractor drive during the Sandusky County Fair, which is celebrating its 157th year. According to the News-Messenger, between 50 and 75 tractors were a part of the display, which made a 15-mile haul to White Star Park in Gibsonburg, Ohio.

The tractors are owned by members of the Sandusky County Restorers of Antique Power, or SCRAP for short. Elwood Dick, a member of SCRAP, told the paper that a number of different tractor manufacturers were featured during this year's showcase.

According to the group's website, SCRAP was founded in 1986, and it participated in its first show that same year at White Star Park. The first SCRAP-hosted show was held in 1989, and the group incorporated in 1991.
