The Michigan Ag Council has recently launched a new website, www.michiganagriculture.com, which provides Michigan farmers and food enthusiasts an expansive resource center full of food and agricultural information.

The new website features several sections, including a page full of Michigan’s top food and agricultural commodities, popular food recipes section and a section titled “Farming in Michigan,” which includes numerous Michigan agriculture facts and a series of “Meet the Farmers” videos, a series spotlighting several Michigan farmers as they dig into the facts about the economic impact and variety of the state’s wide food and farm sector.

Michigan Ag Council President, Laura Moser, said about the new website in a recent Farmers’ Advance article, "Whether you have questions about preparing food or understanding how farming works, michiganagriculture.com is where to go for answers. Michigan agriculture is a livelihood and an economic driver we're very proud of--we want to showcase that."

In addition to several Michigan specialty crops, Michigan-specific information on top U.S. commodities such as corn, soybeans, and wheat can be further explored in the “Michigan Food” section of the site.

This new website, established by the Michigan Ag Council, is a useful resource for any individuals interested in learning more or sharing information about the crops and food that are gleaned from Michigan’s soil. Visit the “About” section of the website to learn more about the Michigan Ag Council and its partners.
