While the groom was as pleased as any tractor enthusiast would be about the use of the farm equipment as a means of transport, Chad Terry had no idea his wife was willing to hop into the vehicle in her wedding dress.

"When the tractor got in front of the house, I knew it was Chad's and I thought, ‘Wait a minute,'" the groom told the Gazette. "He pulled into the driveway and then I was like, 'Of course.'"

Terry and his wife Jessica Pursley had not discussed the use of the tractor as part of the ceremony, but the Michigan resident noted that regardless of the profession of her future husband, she was going to use a tractor in her wedding, reported the news source.

The 1997 John Deere 8300 tractor that was used in the wedding has more than 200 horsepower and has a rear life capability of 15,650 lbs, according to Tractor Data.
