The Root River Antique Power Association hosted the 29th annual antique engine and tractor show at the organization's grounds next door to the Deer Creek Campground. Located north of Spring Valley, Minnesota, the area was covered in various forms of farm equipment for the entirety of the celebration, according to the Spring Valley Tribune.

Despite the hot and sticky weather, many area residents attended the show, including many who participated in the event. Antique cars lined the streets of the town, while tractors like the 1943 LA John Deere model paraded around the grassy grounds, the news source reported.

Young and old townspeople alike searched through the many models of tractors that were available for sale, ranging in color from blue to the unmistakable John Deere green, reported the Tribune.
