The Hillsborough County Agricultural Fair was held for the 54th year in New Boston, New Hampshire, as local residents came from all over the region to see the variety of events that paid tribute to the area's heritage, according to The Cabinet Press.

Though the event takes place in the most urbanized county in the state, the fair features a significant amount of farm animals and agricultural equipment, along with local produce from area farmers.

Vegetable displays were found all over the grounds as local residents brought their best produce to show their neighbors. Included in these stands were massive pumpkins, as the annual competition yielded a winner that weighed in at 1,197 pounds, according to the Press.

The vintage tractor pull was another fan favorite, as the massive green and yellow John Deere tractors were heard across the grounds during the event. Blocks of concrete weighing more than 6,000 pounds were dragged by this used farm equipment, reported the news source.

Along with the tractor pull and massive vegetable displays, the fair showcased the talents of local residents who brought their quilts, clothing and local food and fare for visitors to enjoy, according to the Hillsborough County Agricultural Fair website.
