NPPGov Division Awards John Deere Construction with Three-Year Equipment Contract

John Deere announced on July 19 that the company has been awarded with a three-year construction equipment contract by the National Purchasing Partners Government Division.

The organization serves public and nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to contracts. John Deere was the only original equipment manufacturer awarded the three-year agreement.

"Cooperative purchasing is the way of the future for many state and local government agencies and nonprofit organizations, and we're looking forward to offering our robust line of construction equipment to NPPGov members," said Mark Deakyne, state contract manager for John Deere Construction & Forestry.

"The contract simplifies equipment purchasing while complying with procurement requirements, providing organizations peace of mind when purchasing their next piece of construction equipment."

The contract includes the manufacturer’s full line of construction equipment and commercial worksite products. Additionally, it helps U.S. organizations easily acquire the equipment they need.

Organizations must be NPPGov members in order to utilize the contract. The entire application process is free, and there is no obligation to make a purchase. The NPPGov is a government division of National Purchasing Partners.

In June, John Deere also won the Red Dot Design Award for its design of crawler dozers. The company worked with BMW Group subsidiary Designworks to create an industrial design language on the 850K and 1050K and deliver a consistent aesthetic.
