A Beloit, Ohio man has taken a love for farm equipment to a new level, as the individual has rebuilt and added modifications to his vintage John Deere tractor to ensure that it will remain in top condition, according to Farm and Dairy.
John Stanley has taken pride in his vintage vehicle due to his love for the farm equipment that is made by John Deere, a passion that has existed since his first tractor pull event in 1958.
"It’s always been my hobby. I just love to do it," Stanley told Farm and Dairy. "But it takes a lot of help. A lot of help, and that help has to work hard."
Stanley has long admired the storied history of tractor pulls, as the Beloit resident noted the area's rich history concerning the agricultural sport. He spoke about the local East Rochester Ruritans as the first group to hold events, according to the news source.
