From volunteering to fundraising, Rotarians are known for their service in the community in which they exist. One group from North Fulton, Georgia, decided to branch out and help an area in Swaziland, as they used farm equipment to help complete the project, according to Neighbor Newspapers.

The news source reported that the project that was undertaken by the Rotary Club of North Fulton dealt with the construction of a dam at the charity's farm in Swaziland. To complete this project, the organization relied on the use of a John Deere tractor, which was purchased last year to help the locals with similar efforts and agricultural tasks.

According to the news source, the project was reliant upon the tractor, due to the fact that few pieces of equipment are available for groups and the size of the dam was unlike anything in the area.

"The dam that we’re building will be large enough to irrigate about 90 acres," a member of the rotary club told Neighbor Newspapers. "We’ll be able to grow food year round."

According to the organization's website, the club is reliant on the pooled resources of its members and donations, as things like the John Deere tractor are purchased for communities around the world.
