The Wayne County Sheriff is seeking help from local residents in Garden Hill Township, Illinois, following the theft of a significant amount of used farm equipment, according to the Evansville Courier & Press.

Charles D. Carroll, the landowner from which the property was taken, told the police that thieves took two mobile homes, two boat trailers, three John Deere plows, a bulldozer, a John Deere disc, a four-row John Deere planter, an M-51 Jeep and a large assortment of John Deere parts, the news source reported.

Carroll, who lives in nearby Flora, told the news source that he had recently gone to check on the property when he noticed that almost everything that he owned that could be dragged or hauled away was no longer there.

According to the news source, the Flora resident was surprised that the thieves were able to take the massive machinery from his residence without anyone noticing.
