The Escambia County Sheriff's Office is still searching for three John Deere mowers that were stolen from a local property. Police are asking residents to help in their search for the missing lawn equipment, according to North Escambia.com.

Three John Deere Z-700 series zero-turn-radius mowers were stolen from the Smith Tractor Company that is located in Atmore. The theft took place on the night of June 29 and there are still no clues as to who the thief may have been, the news source reported.

The mowers were taken from the property and placed into a 26-foot-long U-haul truck that was located outside. Deputies were able to discern this information from the tracks that were found outside of the building, reported the news outlet.

Police are currently interviewing local residents and offering a $500 reward for any information that is pertinent to the theft, according to NorthEscambia.com.

John Deere mowers with zero-turn-radius like the Z-700 series models that were stolen are available in new and updated versions of the vehicle, according to the company website.
