Groups of students around the country used John Deere tractors to help promote agriculture, as these individuals drove their farm equipment to school as part of the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) week celebration.

According to the Columbus Telegram, a total of 16 students in Lakeview, Ohio, drove their favorite tractors to school as part of the celebration, a custom that began roughly 10 years ago.

"Farmers don’t get to show off much," Taylor Engel, a student and young farmer, told the news source of his trip to school on a John Deere 4955 tractor. "It’s mostly hard work and labor."

KVMT News Idaho reported that students in Castleford, Idaho, also participated in the celebration, as a line of green and yellow John Deere tractors could be seen driving down Main Street.

"It's pretty normal to see tractors going down Main Street in Castleford, but it's fun for the students to be able to drive the tractors today," one student told the news source.
