When visitors near the elementary school in Milton, West Virginia, they will likely hear the sound of an antique tractor, according to the Charleston Daily Mail.

The used John Deere tractor pulls a trailer full of local residents to the famed Milton Corn Maze. The three-minute ride down the path to the massive rows of crops can sometimes be the highlight of the trip for young children who make the journey, according to the news source.

Other times, these children and their parents are stuck in the maze for longer periods of time than they had originally anticipated.

"It's the only chance we stand to get to the end," a local resident told the Mail about their previous trip. "We got lost and went around in circles, but we found our way out."

Milton Elementary Principal Kim Cooper and his wife Joyce operate the maze and entertain the local families by trying to scare residents as they make their way through the corn, according to the news source.

The corn maze is held on Cooper Farms each year since 2001, as the family also provides educational information about agriculture in addition to the attraction, according to the farm website.
