The news source reported that the utility vehicle is adorned in tiny team decals and the iconic green-and-yellow gator is a usual sight for students and players during the fall months.

The team is also an iconic force in the CIAA conference, as the Rams are undefeated on the season and ranked number nine overall in the Division II coaches poll. Maynor has been at the helm of the team, along with the John Deere gator, but notes that the road to the championship will not be easy, according to the Journal.

"We know we're playing for the CIAA, but we've got bigger goals than just the CIAA," Maynor told the news source. "We want to get into the Division II playoffs, get some wins and compete for the national title."

The CIAA is a conference that is comprised of historically African American colleges and universities, according to the organization's website.
